Anson is a public engagement specialist and writer with strong roots in urban and human geography, deliberative democracy, and transitional justice.
Anson has worked as a consultant in a range of planning and dialogue-based projects, from the Nova Scotia Housing Commission to the hyper local False Creek Flats Arterial Community Panel, a citizens’ assembly initiative convened in Vancouver.
Anson supports Happy Cities in engagement and facilitation-related work. As a Vancouverite, he also likes long walks on Main Street, parklet dinners, and snuggling up on the 99 b-line.
